The video is narrated by a charming and informative animated Belted Kingfisher named Bel. Bel describes clearly how streams that flow into the bay and the tides from the ocean interact to form an estuary, then describes the multiple species that live around the bay. This resource was designed for 1st graders and is simple enough for young children but engaging enough to be useful for older students as well. This resource is recommended for teaching.
