Sonali Anderson is a creative climate strategist and founder of We Free Trees, a climate and innovation hub dedicated to strengthening the connection between climate and culture. She believes cultural relatability must be embedded in education, workforce, entrepreneurship, and innovation to drive long-term change within the climate space. She has worked at North America’s largest incubator for climate tech companies and helped nonprofits, for-profits, and municipalities develop frameworks and action plans that advance climate and social equity goals. Collaborating with community organizations, entrepreneurs, and cross-sector leaders, she drives initiatives that strengthen regenerative local economies through climate innovation, workforce development, cultural relevance, and community ownership. A Georgia native — a Southern Belle at heart — now based between Boston, Atlanta, and Uganda, Sonali is forging new paths that unite culture and climate through increasing awareness, driving direct investment, and creating long-term community impact for communities around the world in intentional ways.
