Laura di Bonaventura graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School and then worked for McKinsey & Co. for nearly 10 years. Post McKinsey, Laura helped launch the e-commerce site “cooking.com.” Since 2011 Laura has led sustainability for the largest K-12 independent school in Connecticut and is active in the state and National Associations of Independent Schools. As the Greenwich Country Day School’s Sustainability Director, Laura developed K-12 Standards, a specialized Sustainability Diploma, and course electives. She teaches and works with faculty and students on sustainability across the curriculum.
Laura serves on her local Conservation Commission and The Nature Conservancy of Connecticut’s Board where she focuses on climate change policy initiatives and advocacy. She and her husband Frits D. van Paasschen have 3 children.
