Geri Unger (B.S., University of Michigan; M.Sc., Hebrew University) has been a consultant to foundations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies since 1992, through TerrAqua Environmental Science and Policy. This included work for the Heinz Endowments, Arid Lands Development Foundation, and the New Israel Fund. As Executive Director of the Society for Conservation Biology, she facilitated diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. While Director of Education and Research at the Cleveland Botanical Garden, she raised funds for a regional program, Vacant to Vibrant. She served as Program Officer for Environmental Quality for the George Gund Foundation from 1988 to 1992.
