Synopsis
- This interactive map allows students to explore different trees in New York City.
- By clicking on the circular icons representing the trees in the city, students can see individual tree details like their species, diameter, latest inspection dates, and ecological benefits.

This resource is an interactive map of every tree managed by NYC Parks. Tree care and ecological benefits are presented collectively and for each tree. Tree carbon storage is discussed on the benefits page, but current values are not calculated (see note - https://tree-map.nycgovparks.org/tree-map/learn/benefits). This resource is fully up to date and is recommended for teaching.
