Synopsis

  • In this interactive simulation, students take on the role of an energy consultant analyzing the electricity consumption and cost of household appliances in an apartment complex.
  • Students use dimensional analysis and unit conversion factors within a spreadsheet to calculate lifetime energy consumption and costs.
