Tamara Shapiro Ledley, Ph.D. is a STEM education consultant, Earth and climate scientist, Secretary of the Education Section of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), an En-ROADS Climate Ambassador, and Adjunct Professor at Bentley University teaching Global Climate Change. She was a 2017 Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow, served as a senior scientist and chair of the Center for STEM Teaching and Learning at TERC, and as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP). Dr. Ledley is the 2013 American Geophysical Union's Excellence in Geophysical Education Awardee for her work in Earth system science and climate change education. She received the 2024 Innovation in Teaching Award from Bentley University for your Connecting Climate Change and Business semester project for her class on Global Climate Change. She serves on the CLEAN Network Leadership Board, the Board of Advisors of the Museum of Science Boston, and the Board of Directors of the Blue Hill Observatory and Science Center and Subject to Climate.
