As a first generation filipino who was born and raised on Kaua'i, Hawai'i, Sheena pursued a BEd in Elementary Education/MEd in Curriculum Studies: STEMS2 at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa to later teach STEM K-5 and fourth grade at Kauluwela Elementary School on O'ahu, Hawai'i. Her vivacious nature, innovative spirit, and undeniable passion for teaching recently led her to start her next adventure: teaching fourth grade at Winborn Elementary in Katy, Texas.
