After 23 years in education, I recently retired from classroom and virtual teaching. For 17 of those years, I taught at the middle school level, while later finishing my career at a high school. I have taught over 2300 students in grades 7 - 12. Subjects taught include English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Theater, and 2D Art. Other past experiences include serving as a program director for a summer camp, teaching an outdoor survival course to homeschooled teens, and supporting a Scout troop as its leader. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and look forward to being a lifelong learner.
