Allison graduated with a PhD from Purdue University, where she studied severe weather and tornadoes using weather radar. She specifically looks at ZDR arc evolution in tornadic and non-tornadic supercell thunderstorms and has been a part of a few field campaigns, including VORTEX-Southeast. Allison graduated from Northern Vermont University-Lyndon (previously Lyndon State College) with her undergraduate degrees in 2016 and received her master's degree from Purdue University in 2018. She has been involved with climate outreach since her time at Lyndon and is excited to continue this work. Outside of school Allison likes to dance, swim, be outside, and play fetch with her cat.
