Synopsis

In this activity and coloring book, students will learn about watersheds, pollution, and stormwater runoff.
Students will complete puzzles, mazes, and word searches as they learn the importance of watersheds and how to prevent water pollution.

Every page can be used as a coloring page, which is great for early finishers!
Students will love the opportunity to draw a picture of themselves on the first page, giving them a connection to the activity.

Prerequisites

Teachers may need to define the terms pollution and stormwater runoff before assigning the activity pages.
Pages 4 and 5 connect to become one large page, so teachers should be mindful of this while printing.

Differentiation & Implementation

After completing the Help STOP Stormwater Pollution coloring sheet, students can draw other examples of how pollution could make animals feel.
Teachers can use these pages as morning work to get students ready to learn about watersheds, pollution, and stormwater runoff.
Students with dyslexia may need an alternative assignment instead of the word search page.
