Synopsis

This video lesson shows students how to gather information from a scientific text, connect it to other ideas and events, and tackle vocabulary by evaluating a passage about Professor Mario Molina's discovery of ozone layer depletion by CFCs.
Students will learn how to interpret transitions, what to do with unknown words, and how to connect ideas in a scientific text with a simple example and then a detailed examination.
