Synopsis
- This printable activity book provides students with word searches, crosswords, informative stories, coloring pages, and mazes to increase their knowledge of emergency preparedness for extreme weather.
- Students will learn how to prepare for and react to thunderstorms, tornados, extreme cold, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, extreme heat, and wildfires and will receive a certificate to commemorate the completion of the activities.

This resource guides students in preparing for natural disasters they may experience. The text is clear and all key terms are defined up front. Throughout the cartoons and activities, knowing what to expect and preparing for it is stressed. While climate change is not discussed directly, all these disasters are exacerbated by climate change. This resource is recommended for teaching.
