Differentiation
Cross-curricular connections can be made in science classes discussing climate change and language arts classes working on descriptive writing or narration.
This resource would make for a great gallery walk. Print the art and hang it around the room. Have students walk around, jotting notes or sharing their thoughts about each piece.
For older students, provide each student with a piece of art and have them write about it, either in journal form or by providing them with a writing prompt.
Science classes could put students in groups and then assign each group to research the content presented in the artwork, connecting it to lessons about energy, the greenhouse effect, states of matter, habitats, or photosynthesis.
