• After listening, create a student-generated list of strategies for mitigation and adaptation featured in the podcast. Then, have students choose one strategy to research further and present their findings to the class. 
• As an extension, students can write a letter to their board of education or local government to advocate for one of the strategies to be employed in their school or town.
