Synopsis

To understand the adaptation needs of those in the Global South, teachers can guide students in an exploration of the extreme weather and other impacts that these regions face today. Teachers can discuss why this makes the prioritization of mitigation strategies over adaptation strategies unfair for those in the Global South.
