Create Your Own Climate Comic Strip

  • In this activity, students create their own comic strip about possible solutions to climate change. 
  • The teacher guide has helpful information and possible comic ideas about three major sectors that are contributing to climate change: energy, agriculture, and transportation.

Additional Prerequisites

  • Students should have some prior knowledge of climate change.


  • Students could create their comic strips individually or in small groups.
  • The teacher could coordinate so that each comic strip features a different solution to climate change.
  • Teachers could publish the comic strips in the school newspaper or on the school website.
  • Other activities to foster creativity include Our Climate Our Future Coloring Activity and Write a Climate Solutions Song.
