  • In this 30 minute video students learn how to use shredded paper to make a plantable seed paper.

Positives

  • Students could try the activity in class or at home if they are learning virtually
  • Great activity for Earth Day

Additional Prerequisites

  • Teachers will need to preview the video to determine what chunks to show
  • Teachers could create a Google Form Quiz or paper based quiz as an assessment to maintain engagement

Differentiation 

  •  The video is rather long, so it would probably be better for a teacher to break it up into chunks or short clips 
  • If completing the experiment the students could work in groups so that storing the pots are easier
