In this activity, students will create a nature journal, and use to use it to record questions and observations about nature.

The project does not require many materials, and students can be as creative as they want.
Additional Prerequisites
Students should be comfortable using scissors and a hole punch.
Teachers will need to gather materials for the project.
Differentiation
This journal activity could be used as a full-year science project on observing changes in the weather or seasons.
Students could also use the journal for observations about the plants and animals in the area.
Art classes could make nature journals and use the pages for

created from items found in nature.
