Jennifer LeBlanc is a middle school science teacher at Dostyk American International School in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. For the past 15 years, she has been teaching and researching science education. She started as a teacher in Houston, Texas, and quickly became interested in researching the intersectionality of science and multicultural education. Earning her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 2016 she has continued to focus her research interest on sense-making in multicultural science education. Jennifer is also an education consultant previously coaching graduate students at Johns Hopkins University and currently helping teachers around the world with their dissertation research.
