Synopsis
In this module from the Maine Department of Energy, students will learn how climate change impacts and is impacted by different industries in Maine.
Students will learn about climate change in the fishing, logging, and farming industries and create some solutions for addressing problems in these industries.
The practice of checking in with emotions and taking a break as needed is a great way of teaching the whole child with their needs in mind.
The self-check activities and quizzes make it easy for students to self-assess their knowledge.

Differentiation & Implementation
Using the glossaries in the included books, teachers and students can create a word wall for this module.
Students may want to have paper and a pencil with them to take notes and draw pictures when prompted.
To make community connections, teachers can invite people working in the local fishing, logging, and farming industries to share their expertise.
