Synopsis
In this 17-minute video, students will learn about a simple ID badge with a QR code that medical health professionals can wear to provide information and guidance to their patients about climate change and how it affects their health.
Anyone can scan the QR code to gain valuable information about the connections between climate change and health, but it provides a simple way for doctors and healthcare practitioners to approach the subject.
This video shows how creative thinking is essential in addressing climate change.
Students will hear real-life testimonies on how most people are eager to learn about climate change and what roles they can play in addressing this issue.
Prerequisites
The teacher will need a computer/tablet or devices for the students and access to the Internet.
Differentiation & Implementation
Students can contact their local health care proffesionals and see if they would like to take part in this campaign, if they are not already.
Students can visit the climaterRX website to explore how it works and learn more.
This video can be used as motivation for students to encourage active participation in climate change education and discussions outside of school settings.
